How MyNative works
MyNative is a marketplace. Learners book lessons, natives teach them, and we keep the plumbing, scheduling, payments and messaging, out of your way.
For learners
- 1Create a free learner account and tell us which language you want to speak.
- 2Browse natives by language, price and style, then read their reviews.
- 3Book a slot, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, and pay securely at checkout.
- 4Join your private video room from your dashboard when the lesson starts.
- 5Keep the conversation going in encrypted chat and leave a review.
For natives
- 1Sign up as a native and complete your profile: languages, bio and hourly rate.
- 2Connect your payment account in Dashboard → Settings → Payments.
- 3Publish your profile so learners can find and book you.
- 4Teach the lesson in the built-in video room.
- 5Get paid to your own account, and MyNative only deducts a 5% platform fee.
Safety and privacy
Messages between learners and natives are encrypted before they are stored, and only the two people in a conversation can read them. Lesson payments are processed by our payment provider, and MyNative never stores your card details. See our Privacy Policy for details.
